The East Africa Youth Parliament was established in 2009 as a platform to unify young leaders across the Eastern Africa region under the mandate of the East African Community. Over the years, EAYP has transformed into a vibrant regional body shaping policy dialogue, youth development, and civic engagement. Through conferences, networking forums, advocacy campaigns, and strategic partnerships, we continue to nurture a generation of informed, empowered, and responsible youth ready to drive regional integration and sustainable development.
Our mission is to create an enabling environment for effective youth participation in governance, leadership, and development. We aim to equip young people with knowledge, skills, and opportunities that enhance their social, economic, and political contribution to the East African Community.
